How to download bittorrent files on a mac

OK, so you've heard about bittorrent files, and maybe even tried to download them in the past. But it's always been a pain, trying to figure out port forwarding, etc. It never works, right?

Not anymore. I've found two programs and a few websites that make it really easy.

To find the torrent files, first search on btjunkie or The Pirate Bay.

Then download the files with either Azureus or Miro. Miro is fantastic for lots of other things, but sometimes Azureus seems to download faster.

With these two programs I've never had to worry about port forwarding... they just work. The only other tip I have is to look for files with lots of seeders. Each seeder is a person who you can download a piece of the file from. If you see a movie with 5000 seeds, it might only take a few hours to download, where if it has 200 seeds, it might take a week!
